NYFW SS23: Dauphinette

Camera: Nikon D750 Lens: Nikon AF-S Nikon 24-120mm f/4.0G

I had the incredible opportunity to shoot for six different fashion designers this past New York Fashion Week, from high fashion to sportswear to sustainable small businesses. I loved meeting the models, hair and makeup teams, attendees, as well as other photographers. There are so many brilliantly creative people in this industry and I feel blessed to have met them all. Here’s to the next shows, I can’t wait!

Dauphinette by Olivia Cheng brought items we know and use like bread, spoons, buttons, eggshells, chilies, rosebuds, plates, and even handles to craft a collection reminiscent of an art gallery. It worked perfectly for the presentation-style event inside a gorgeous church with live classical music — brooding yet romantic. This surrealist collection “FRAGILE” is a commentary on our everyday life, encouraging us to look and think deeper than the surface.
