NYFW SS23: Monse Maison

Camera: Nikon D750 Lens: Nikon AF-S Nikon 24-120mm f/4.0G

I had the incredible opportunity to shoot for six different fashion designers this past New York Fashion Week, from high fashion to sportswear to sustainable small businesses. I loved meeting the models, hair and makeup teams, attendees, as well as other photographers. There are so many brilliantly creative people in this industry and I feel blessed to have met them all. Here’s to the next shows, I can’t wait!

First up was Monse Maison, inspired by menswear and sportswear with unique silhouettes. Their juxtaposition of unique fabrics with an ode to classic silhouettes made high fashion seem accessible to the everyday wearer. For the second show, I went backstage and loved watching the show come together and the models’ expressions as they walked back in, knowing they crushed the show! After that, I’m pretty sure back of house is my favorite part of fashion shows.
