I had the incredible opportunity to shoot for six different fashion designers this past New York Fashion Week, from high fashion to sportswear to sustainable small businesses. I loved meeting the models, hair and makeup teams, attendees, as well as other photographers. There are so many brilliantly creative people in this industry and I feel blessed to have met them all. Here’s to the next shows, I can’t wait!

Natalia and I had the opportunity to work together while I was in college when I photographed some of her gorgeous pieces for my fashion magazine. Her style is traditionally girly and romantic with elements of edginess, however, her recent collection leaned into that edgy side much more, which I loved to see I was able to shoot front and back of house for this show, and it was great seeing everything come together from the hair and makeup to the final walks.

The best part was that there were also 6 other designers at the event: Transformations By Tracy, Herimpo, Estudio Organico, Vaed Va, Bernelli Designs, and Rachel Erin. All 7 designers at this event were sustainable and slow fashion brands, and I was honored to capture them! If you have the budget, go support them, you’ll feel the love in each piece of clothing they make.
